Calgary Flames Foundation supporting Red Deer seniors
Local seniors stand to benefit from a generous donation from the Calgary Flames Foundation.
According to Foundation officials, residents at six of Bridges Community Living buildings were overjoyed to hear that the Calgary Flames Foundation will be supporting their mental and physical well-being with a donation in the amount of $23,000.
Bridges Community Living is a low to moderate income housing organization that has been operating in Red Deer since 1979 and supports close to 800 residents in lodge and apartment style living.
Following the Calgary Flames Foundation’s mission to support initiatives that bring positive change to the lives of southern Albertans, stationary bikes, treadmills, mini Todo machines and a shuffleboard table will be purchased to enhance the lives of over 400 residents in five apartment buildings and one of Bridges Community Living’s lodges.
