Two charged after Innisfail Mounties seize meth, oxy from vehicle with stolen plate
Two men face charges after Innisfail RCMP seized methamphetamine and oxycodone this week from a car bearing a stolen licence plate.
It was at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday when patrolling members with the Innisfail General Investigation Section located a Honda Civic with a stolen plate at a gas station in town.
Police say the vehicle was covertly followed until it parked at a second location and the occupants exited the vehicle before being arrested.
A search of the vehicle turned up multiple ounces of methamphetamine and hundreds of oxycodone tablets. A passenger in the vehicle was also found to have multiple counterfeit identification documents on his person.
