Active COVID cases up in Alberta, steady in Central Zone
Alberta is reporting 127 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
This brings the total number of coronavirus cases identified in the province so far to 13,210 including 1,176 that are currently active – up 42 active cases from Tuesday.
The total number of deaths from the virus remains at 235 since the start of the pandemic.
Numbers show there are 48 people in hospital with COVID-19 in the province, up two from Tuesday, with seven of those in ICU.
