Portion of south bank trail to close for two months

A portion of the south bank trail from Taylor Drive to CPR Pedestrian Bridge, adjacent to the Water Treatment Plant, will close today, Monday, July 27.

The trail is expected to remain closed through to September 23, 2020.

During the closure, construction crews will be completing in-river work as part of the Residuals Management Facility project at the Water Treatment Plant.

Work includes modifications to an existing in-river raw water intake structure to convert it to an outfall structure.

Trail users are asked to use alternate trails, obey signs and give the crew room to work.
