Speed limit lowered near Drayton Valley hospital

The speed limit on a stretch of road near the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre is being lowered.
The new speed limit on Madsen Avenue from 47 Street to 39 Avenue is now 30 km/h after town council approved the change earlier this week.
Other changes approved changes to the town’s Traffic Bylaw include updates to the descriptions of non-playground or school zones within Drayton Valley to provide clarity and ensure they are correct.
