Woman’s death in Sylvan Lake deemed suspicious

A police investigation is underway into the death of a 32-year-old woman in Sylvan Lake.

Sylvan Lake RCMP responded at around 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 to a 911 call of an assault at a residence in town.

EMS attended and the woman was transported to the hospital where she was declared deceased.

“Responding RCMP officers determined her death to be suspicious,” reads a media release.
