Death of Wetaskiwin man deemed a homicide

RCMP now say a suspicious death near Maskwacis has been determined to be a homicide.
An autopsy was conducted this week after a 74-year-old man from Wetaskiwin was found April 12 unresponsive lying on the Herman-Minde Road east of Highway 2A.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
More information will be released as it becomes available.
