Electric Garage launches second online auction

In lieu of holding a public event, Electric Garage (EG Auctions) has launched second online auction of its registered vehicles and memorabilia.

EG Auctions conducted its first online auction after cancelling its annual spring event in Red Deer in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, selling 69 per cent of its registered vehicles and nearly its entire memorabilia inventory. Cars were purchased from as far away as Texas, California, Chicago, Florida and Ontario.

“We have over 1500 registered international bidders from all over the world including US buyers. Hundreds of contacts in the industry,” EG Auctions says in a release. “We broker, ship and title all the cars if they sell south of the border.”

The second online timed auction is now live. It will end with a staggered finish on Saturday, May 2. Over 100 collector cars and over 400 pieces of no reserve automobilia are now open for live bidding.
