STARS takes woman to hospital following Ponoka County crash

RCMP are investigating a crash in Ponoka County Monday night that sent a 34-year-old woman to hospital.

At 9:18 p.m., Mounties from Rimbey were dispatched to a single vehicle collision along Township Road 434, where it was determined the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was driving down a no-exit road onto private property, and hit a snow pile – launching the vehicle.

Police assisted EMS on scene, with STARS transporting the woman to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

No further details are expected.
