Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre announces new executive director
Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre has announced that JoAnne Hayden has accepted the position of Executive Director, effective May 1.
Hayden has spent the last 17 years being an integral part of the Aspire team, working towards their mission of providing hope to children with special needs, the families who love them and the communities that care for them.
“We are excited to have someone progress through the organization to this level, bringing not only her strengths and talents, but her love for Aspire and her willingness to support the mission and the culture,” said Robin Armitage, Board Chair.
With a background in human services, Hayden began her tenure with Aspire in the Early Intervention Program, providing in home support to families with children with developmental delays or disabilities. Later transitioning into the position of Intake Coordinator, she provided support, encouragement, information and direction to families and community partners requiring services.
