Red Deer County encouraging businesses to connect

Red Deer County has launched a LinkedIn page to support local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The County says it encourages local businesses to take advantage of the social media platform’s ability it gives to connect and build valuable networks for free.
“While the health of our residents is our number one priority, the health of our local business community is a close second,” says Mayor Jim Wood. “We want to support our businesses as much as possible, while still acknowledging that we must remain fiscally responsible.”
Adds Assistant County Manager Dave Dittrick: “We have seen tremendous growth in the business community and we are in constant contact with them during this difficult time. It is my hope this LinkedIn page becomes an online place where businesses can share ideas, help each other, and know that they are receiving accurate and current information from the County.”
