An arrest warrant has been issued for a Red Deer man who police believe is responsible for shooting another man southeast of Olds.

It was at about 2 p.m. on March 20 when Olds RCMP received a complaint of a shooting near Township Road 320 and Range Road 290 in Mountain View County. Police determined that three subjects, one female and two males, attended the rural property in a gold-coloured SUV to settle a dispute over money and belongings.

A 47-year-old man suffered firearms-related injuries in the incident and was flown to hospital in stable condition. Another man at the property was shot at but was not injured.

The female suspect, Jessica Nicole McClintock, 33, of Calgary was arrested Monday north of Trochu on one count of unlawfully wounding, maiming, disfiguring or endangering a life and two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life. She has been released on bail and is due to appear in Didsbury provincial court on June 24.

The gold-coloured SUV was later located and seized from an area northeast of Wimborne, RCMP say.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Lyle Robert Walter Vance, 27, of Red Deer. Vance faces several charges that include one count of unlawfully wounding, maiming, disfiguring or endangering a life, two counts pointing a firearm, two counts of discharging a firearm with intent, one count of prohibited possession of a firearm, one count of unlawful possession of a handgun, one count of possession of a restricted and loaded firearm and two counts of breach of probation.

Police advise the public not to approach Vance as he may be armed and dangerous.

Meantime, Mounties say the second male suspect involved in this incident has not yet been located or identified.
