Lacombe police looking for stolen trailer, ATVs

The Lacombe Police Service is turning to the public for help in locating a trailer and ATVs stolen from a residence in the Iron Wolf neighborhood on Christmas Eve.

The cargo trailer had been parked in the rear alley of a home and was valued at approximately $17,000. It contained multiple items including two quads and a side-by-side.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following items:

– 2007, light green-coloured Arctic Cat Prowler ATV with snow plow attachment valued at approximately $8,000

– 1990 dark blue Honda Four Trax 300 FW ATV valued at approximately $2,000

– 2003 dark blue and yellow Ski-Doo Summit Snowmobile valued at approximately $2,500

Police say video footage of the theft shows that the suspect vehicle was observed to be a 1991 Dodge Ram truck, grey in color. Further investigation found this truck to be stolen out of the Ponoka area on December 20.

“The truck was later involved in a criminal flight from police in the Red Deer area,” Cst. Vaughan Bleasdale says in a media release.
