RCMP investigate pedestrian collision at O’Chiese First Nation

Police say two men are facing charges following a pedestrian hit and run at the O’Chiese First Nation Wednesday morning.

Mounties were called to the scene at 5:06 a.m. and confirm the victim, a 30-year-old man was initially taken to hospital in Rocky Mountain House before being flown by STARS to University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.

Police say the victim’s injuries were substantial, but do not appear to be life-threatening.
