Leduc Mountie charged with sexual assault

EDMONTON – A Leduc RCMP member has been charged following a Alberta Serious Incident Response Team investigation.

Const. Kelly Brown, 37, of the Leduc Detachment has been charged with one count of sexual assault.

It is alleged that Brown, during the early morning hours of July 6, 2017, while in Leduc, sexually assaulted an adult woman while he was off-duty.

Brown, a 13-year RCMP member, has been suspended with pay since July 2017.
