This game was originally scheduled for Okotoks as well, but damage to the Falcons field moved it to Red Deer and the beautifully renovated Great Chief Park. This too will feature two legitimate contenders for the Tier II title this year with the perennially tough Foothills Falcons building towards their cross town battle with Holy Trinity Academy the following week. Hunting Hills has a string of Central Alberta Championships in their trophy case but haven’t been able to punch their ticket to the Alberta Bowl in the past so a strong non-conference schedule this year might be just what the doctor ordered to get them over the top. – Football Alberta
