Red Deer Fencing Club enters 25th season

Sep 6, 2019 | 10:35 AM

The Red Deer Fencing Club would like to invite you to be a part of World Fencing Day this Saturday, September 7 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.

This year’s theme is “Fencing for our Planet.”

Athletes, coaches, fencing clubs and federations worldwide will be demonstrating their love of the sport of fencing, their talents and dedication to sport for the betterment of their communities and our shared environment.

RDFC has an exciting season planned in celebration of its 25th season.

This season we will be having our home tournament October fence on October 19 and 20. We will also be sending a team to Alberta Winter Games and will be hosting the Alberta Fencing Provincials in May 2020.

As well, qualifying members will be attending The Canadian National Championships being held at the University of Alberta in May 2020.

This season we are hoping to connect with past members and share their stories from the past 25 years.
