Innisfail RCMP have charged a 19-year-old man after finding him asleep at the wheel of a stolen vehicle.

On Friday, just before 6 a.m., EMS were called about a male sitting in a Ford F150 in the parking lot of a local fast food restaurant. It was said that the male appeared to be going in and out of consciousness.

When paramedics arrived, they assessed the male and determined he needed medical attention. He was taken to hospital.

RCMP then determined that the truck he’d been sitting in was stolen. The male was arrested and held at the hospital until he was ready to go before a judge.

Jordan Kyle Glasgow of Innisfail is charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, and four counts of failure to comply with probation.

He appeared in Red Deer Provincial Court on Friday.

Innisfail RCMP add, “Innisfail GIS in partnership with Innisfail detachment members will continue with enforcement and pro-active policing in Innisfail into the fall months. People with information regarding drug trafficking and property crime are encouraged to contact Innisfail GIS at 403-227-8514.”
