One dead after crash near Wetaskiwin

A collision just north of Wetaskiwin has claimed one life.

RCMP say it was July 5 around 2:20 p.m. when members received a report of a crash between a semi truck and a 2007 Ford Focus at the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 814.

The car was travelling east on Hwy 13 and attempted to turn north onto Hwy 814 when it collided with the semi, which was westbound on Hwy 13.

The 22-year-old passenger of the car was declared deceased on scene. The driver was taken to
