Open house on Ponoka’s Transportation and Urban Framework Master Plans

PONOKA- Residents are invited to an open house on Wednesday, June 19, to view and provide feedback on the proposed Transportation and Urban Framework Master Plans.

The Town is developing the plans to meet Ponoka’s changing needs as the community grows.

The Open House will feature information displays about the plans.

Citizens will be invited to fill out comment forms to offer their input on the proposed plans.

They will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in one-on-one discussions with the project team.

Once approved by Council, the Master Plans will assist in helping to determine future allocation of funds toward planned improvements on a priority basis.

The open house will feature a ‘drop-in’ format and is being held on the main floor of the Ponoka Civic Building located at 5604-50 Street.

The public is invited to stop by anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Those unable to attend can view the proposed plans and fill out a comment form that will be posted on the Town website at www.ponoka.ca from June 19 to July 5.
