Celebrating the 13th annual Central Alberta Children’s Festival

May 30, 2019 | 9:30 AM

Celebrate the 13th Annual Central Alberta Children’s Festival with Family Services of Central Alberta on May 31st and June 1st at Rotary Recreation Park, Red Deer. Aligning with our mission to strengthen relationships, we continue into the 13th year of the Central Alberta Children’s Festival. We are dedicated to providing a fun experience for children and families of all ages, creating memories with one another, and celebrating the kid in all of us.

This year is projected to be our biggest festival yet, and we anticipate over 7000 guests with school groups across Central Alberta to attend. With support from ParticipACTION and various community partners, the festival brings affordable, culturally diverse, and exciting entertainment through featured artists and interactive fun. We strive to allow families to actively engage in learning and playtime by fostering their imagination and creativity.

The festival’s wide variety of activities includes jumbo-sized games, huge inflatables, face painting, sports, crafts, dance, and music. Live shows involve musicians, magicians, and animal experts with entertainers Safari Jeff, Smilin Rylan, HOJA, Kyle Key, The Joe Show, and many more great acts.

Admission at a daily rate is $6.00 per person or $20.00 for a family of four, with weekend family passes available at $30.00; tickets can be purchased at the gate. Admission includes access to all festivities along with a FREE Family Barbeque Night on Friday, May 31st, and Ricky’s Family Restaurants Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 1st. There will also be water (bring a bottle!) and plenty of healthy snacks available.

Come play at the 2019 Central Alberta Children’s Festival to celebrate the wonder of childhood ages 0 – 99! We want to remind everyone to have fun and “Never Grow Up!”

The 13th Annual Central Alberta Children’s Festival is made possible by the incredible support of our generous donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
