EDMONTON- On March 24, at approximately 1:27 p.m., Edmonton International Airport RCMP (EIA) responded to a bomb threat that was heard over the Public Address system.
An immediate investigation was launched, but shortly thereafter the threat was determined to be a hoax, and no flights were delayed as a result.
“We took this situation very seriously” says Sgt. Beth Philipp of the EIA RCMP. Garda Security, RCMP and the Airport Authority came together quickly to determine that this threat was non-credible”
