Wolf Creek Public Schools reaches exchange partnership with China
A local school division has reached a historic partnership with schools in China.
On March 19, Wolf Creek Public Schools Superintendent Jason Lovell, Assistant Superintendent Mark McWhinnie and Director Sean Lougheed travelled to Guangzhou, China to sign a historic Memorandum of Understanding.
In addition to the signing, the Wolf Creek delegation spent time visiting eleven schools in Guangzhou and Gaoming, China. Three of these schools were from the Liwan Bureau of Education.
Officials say students and staff within these schools were enthusiastic about the partnership and met with the delegation after each visit to discuss possibilities and learn more about WCPS.
