Aspen Heights hosts Micro-Night May 3

Red Deerians will have a chance to experience first-hand this week an event that highlights a National Award winning program at one of Red Deer’s elementary schools.

The MicroSociety Program at Aspen Heights Elementary School will feature its Micro-Night on Thursday, May 3 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

MicroSociety Coordinator Allan Baile describes it as an opportunity for students and staff to share their Market Day experience with the community, with each of the last three years seeing over 300 guests being entertained at the event.

In addition, some special events will augment the Micro – Night activities, including a bottle drive in support of MicroSociety, Warehouse clothing sale and $5 Taco in a Bag Supper which will be served in front of the school starting at 6:30 p.m.
