Fire advisory issued for Drayton Valley and Brazeau County
With warm temperatures and a persistent dry wind over the past couple of weeks, the risk of fires breaking out in the Drayton Valley area has started to grow.
That has prompted a fire advisory to be issued for Brazeau County and the Town of Drayton Valley that will come into effect May 2 at 8 a.m.
The advisory means that no new fire permits will be issued, and the advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve.
