Rocky RCMP Weekly Report: May 17 – 22
On May 17th at 7:05 p.m. an impaired driver was arrested at a police check stop on Highway 11. A local man provided breath samples well over twice the legal limit. Charges are pending.
On May 17th at 11:24 p.m. an adult male was arrested for a “Breach of a Release Document” after driving his uninsured and unregistered vehicle into a river bed. Open liquor was found in the vehicle, provincial violation tickets were issued.
On May 17th at 11:18 p.m. an adult male was arrested for impaired driving of an off-highway vehicle in the South Fork area of Clearwater County. Charges are pending.
On May 18th at 7:49 a.m. there was a gas & dash at a Rocky Mountain House station worth $71.53. The gas attendant was knocked down when the vehicle fled the area in a green Jeep Wrangler. EMS attended and transported the attendant to the hospital. The suspect is described as a male wearing a grey sweatshirt with black writing and newer Nike basketball shoes with red soles. Police are investigating.
