Drayton Valley RCMP Weekly Report: Sept. 20-27

On Sept. 21, just before 11 p.m., members on patrol observed 24-year-old Levi Rain, who was then arrested on outstanding warrants. Cocaine and meth were located along with stolen credit cards and ID cards. Rain was held for a bail hearing and released on conditions.

September 22

Shortly before 7 p.m., RCMP received a report that both a male and female were at the Aspen Motor Inn with stolen property. Both were arrested and charged. The stolen property was recovered and returned.

Then around 11:30 p.m., members responded to 46 Street for a report of a disturbance in which it was said a female was yelling at her neighbour’s kids because they were having a loud party.

September 24

Just before 4 p.m., RCMP responded to a shoplifting complaint at WalMart where a female with dark hair allegedly tried to steal 12 baseball gloves and batteries. The woman took off in a red Pontiac.

At 10 p.m., Mounties took to 52 Avenue where a male was refusing to leave a hotel. The male was then banned from the hotel.

September 26

Just before noon, Drayton Valley RCMP attended the local Boston Pizza for a dine and dash. Reportedly, a male, approximately 280 lbs and wearing glasses with longer blonde/grey hair and a red plaid lumber jacket/shirt, ate $51.41 worth of food and then left the restaurant without paying.
