Revolution Ride raises funds to battle Type 1 Diabetes
The 8th Annual JDRF Revolution Ride took over Bower Place on Wednesday.
The event takes place every to year to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which is devoted to the prevention, treatment, and curing of Type 1 Diabetes.
Wednesday’s event had a total of 28 five-person teams cycling this year.
JDRF Peer to Peer Support Melissa Zimmermann says, “They ride for seven minutes, and everybody else is obviously cheering, having a great time. All these teams have raised funds for type 1 Diabetes Research, and most of them are corporate involved.”
