Ponoka students to discuss learning, sharing, and reconciliation

Oct 15, 2018 | 5:22 PM

DARKSPARK and grade 7 students of Ponoka Secondary Campus present an afternoon of inter-cultural learning, sharing, and reconciliation. The Four Directions Project, established by arts-education not-for-profit DARKSPARK, uses songwriting and recording to teach and document students’ reflections on Canada’s colonial history as it relates to Indigenous peoples.

The students took part in this national project writing and recording of original songs. DARKSPARK along with Wolf Creek Public Schools look forward to sharing Ponoka Secondary Campus students’ impressive work with you!
