RCMP arrests include attempted fraud and drug charges
Recent arrests of note by Red Deer RCMP include suspects apprehended in industrial areas during the commission of crimes, attempted frauds in progress using stolen identification and cheques in addition to a number of drug charges.

At 1:30 a.m. on June 21, RCMP responded to a break and enter at a business in Edgar Industrial Park and with the help of Police Dog Services, located and arrested a suspect who was hiding from police.
40 year old Jeremiah Newton faces a charge of breaking and entering. He was remanded to appear in court in Red Deer on June 22 and is scheduled to appear again on June 25 at 9:30 a.m.
