Grizzlys remain winless, VanHereweghe resigns
The nightmare start to the 2018-19 AJHL season continues for the Olds Grizzlys.
The club lost two more games over the weekend, 3-2 to the Camrose Kodiaks and 12-0 to the top-ranked Brooks Bandits, to fall to 0-14-1 on the season. Olds has been outscored 94-31 this season.
On Friday, Gary VanHereweghe stepped down as GM/associate coach. Joe Murphy remains as the team’s head coach.
“The Olds Grizzlys would like to sincerely thank Garry and his family for his service to our league, and to our club throughout his career,” the team said on its website.
