RCMP seek male wanted for Ponoka Stampede stabbing
Ponoka RCMP are searching for an 18-year-old male wanted for aggravated assault and failing to comply with an order from an incident that occurred on June 27 in Ponoka.
Police responded to a report of a stabbing at the Ponoka Stampede grounds after an altercation between two males. A male victim was stabbed with a knife and suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the altercation. Police do not believe this was a random incident.
Dayton Trey Buffalo is known to reside in Samson First Nation and despite all efforts police have not been able to locate him. He is known to also frequent the Wetaskiwin area.
