Investigators are looking into what caused a car to crash into a church in Red Deer’s Oriole Park neighbourhood on Monday.
Barry Wulff, Fire Safety Codes Officer with the City of Red Deer says the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Victory Church on Oberlin Avenue, across from Oriole Park School.
He says a woman and her children were inside the vehicle at the time but no one was injured, including the children who were inside the Kids In Harmony Preschool located inside the church.
Although the vehicle was damaged and airbags deployed, structural damage to both the inside and outside of the church was minimal, according to Wulff.
