Heat warning in effect for Drayton Valley and area
A heat warning has been issued for Drayton Valley and the surrounding area.
Environment Canada is forecasting a period with maximum daily temperatures reaching near 29C or above and minimum overnight temperatures reaching near 14C or above are expected Monday and Tuesday. A low pressure system moving through the province on Wednesday will bring scattered showers and cooler temperatures to the region.
The heat warning is in effect for the following areas:
• Brazeau Co. near Drayton Valley and Breton
