Four more flu deaths in Calgary

Calgary continues to be hit hard by the flu this season.

The latest numbers released Thursday by Alberta Health Services show five people in the Calgary Zone have died from influenza over the past three weeks, including four in the past week alone.

One other Albertan from the North Zone also died as a result of influenza last week.

Overall, Calgary has seen a whopping 2412 influenza cases this season. The Edmonton Zone has reported just 345 cases.
