LETHBRIDGE- A southern Alberta man with a history of sexually assaulting girls has been found guilty again.

Trevor Pritchard of Coaldale has been convicted of sexual assault, child luring and possession of child pornography in a case involving two 14-year-old girls.

Justice Johnna Kubik of Court of Queen’s Bench heard the case without a jury in Lethbridge.

Kubik says she found the testimony of the victims credible and did not believe the evidence given by Pritchard, who had testified in his own defence.

Court heard that Pritchard has brain damage and his main income is from a government program for the severely handicapped.

In addition to this latest guilty verdict, Pritchard also has three other convictions in 2004, 2009 and 2010.

The Crown says it will apply to have Pritchard declared a dangerous offender a designation that could see him jailed indefinitely.
