Shots fired in incident near Hanna
Police are investigating after shots were fired in an incident in rural Alberta.
A Red Deer man and Ponoka woman are both facing charges in relation to the events which took place in the Hanna detachment area last week.
RCMP say it was just before 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 17 when members were advised of a truck which refused to stop for Brooks RCMP. The vehicle was last seen near Pollockville, about halfway between Brooks and Hanna.
Complaints then began coming in about the same vehicle attempting to steal gas at rural locations, the last one being in the Scapa, AB area where another truck was allegedly stolen from a garage.
