Glasgo says it was an honest mistake.

But a spokesman for Environment Minister Shannon Phillips says too often the UCP repeat false information in order to stir up anger among voters.

UCP Leader Jason Kenney has said the carbon tax only hurts families while doing nothing to reduce greenhouse gases.

He says if his party wins the spring election, the first act of his government will be to dismantle the tax.
