Three arrested after stolen vehicle crash in Penhold

Three people have been charged following a stolen vehicle crash in Penhold Thursday.

Innisfail RCMP say the single vehicle crash was reported by a witness at the scene who observed three males exit the vehicle and flee on foot.

Police quickly learned the vehicle that had crashed was in fact a stolen red Pontiac G6. 

Mounties say patrols were made and three males were located nearby matching the description provided by the witness. 

All three were arrested without incident.

Bradley Forslund, 20, of Red Deer has been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fail to comply and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.

Forslund was released with conditions and is set to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on February 8.

Dalton Jeffries, 18, of Red Deer has been charged with Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two counts of fail to comply and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.

Jeffries was also released with conditions to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court March 1.

RCMP say the third male was identified and is under the age of 18 therefore his name will not be released.
