Town of Rocky Mountain House’s 2018 strategic plan

Town Council and staff have developed strategic initiatives for the Town of Rocky Mountain House to pursue over the upcoming Council term.

The “Imagine Rocky” strategic planning session was used to set a direction towards a future vision for the community and to determine strategic priorities and goals to achieve that vision.

Over the next four years, Council will continually monitor and adjust the plan as unforeseen opportunities or challenges arise. A formal review will take place every year in conjunction with the budget process.

The 2018 Strategic Priorities for the Town of Rocky Mountain House has seven key points, which include:

•             The Town maintains community assets

Over 15,000 pounds for food bank
Borouge International E1 Turnaround benefits multiple central Alberta community causes

•             The Town has land available for all types of development

•             The Town is a collaborative community

•             The Town has organizational capacity to deliver high quality services

•             The Town communicates, engages and is responsive to our citizens

•             The town is a tourism destination

•             The Town is an environmental leader.
