Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter Buy a Brick fundraiser

The Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter is having a ‘Buy a Brick for $500’ fundraiser to raise money for its new building.

The community will be able to buy a brick and either put their name, or a loved one’s name on a plaque to be displayed on a wall at the new shelter.

Executive Director Cindy Easton says they realize not everyone has money like a corporation that could do a sponsorship or a big donation, so they thought this would be a great way to get community involvement.

Construction for the inside walls of the new shelter has begun, along with all the electrical outlets.
