Penhold Fire Crews deal with minor gas leak

PENHOLD- Fire Crews were called to an odour of natural gas on Lucina Street in Penhold on Tuesday at around 8 p.m.

Two homes were evacuated as firefighters went over the area with gas detectors.

Traffic was also blocked off on Lucina Street and Waskasoo Avenue.

Atco Gas members arrived on scene and repaired a small gas leak.

Residents were allowed back in their homes and the roads opened up just after 9 p.m.
