Red Deer golfer finishes ninth at 2026 Canadian Men’s Senior Championship

Red Deer’s Ken Griffith finished tied for ninth following the conclusion of the 2026 Canadian Men’s Senior Championship and second in the super-senior category.

The four-day tournament took place at the Niakwa Country Club in Winnipeg, Man. where Griffith shot six over par, including one under par in the final round. He also nearly had the super-senior title but fell in a three-way playoff hole.

American Bryan Hoops from Arizona finished in first place after shooting five under par throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Red Deer’s Peter Innes and Dan Soley each finished tied for 61st after shooting 23 over par.
