Red Deer RCMP charge 42-year-old man with drug trafficking related offences

Red Deer RCMP have charged a 42-year-old man following a drug trafficking investigation.

The Red Deer RCMP General Investigation Section arrested him on July 8 after wrapping up the investigation.

As a result, he was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police had received information that led them to execute a search warrant at a commercial property in the Bower neighbourhood in Red Deer.

They found 226.7 grams of methamphetamine, 133.4 grams of cocaine, 3.3 grams of fentanyl, and $2,055 in Canadian Currency.

He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer on Sept. 16, 2026.
