Lacombe Police Service looking for person of interest in string of residential thefts

The Lacombe Police Service is investigating a break-and-enter and thefts from vehicles that occurred earlier this week.

Police say in the early morning on July 21 on Bruns Crescent in Lacombe, a suspect or suspects entered a residential garage through an unlocked door and stole a DeWalt tool bag that contained a drill and other tools.

Police also received two additional reports later in the day of thefts from vehicles in the same crescent.

As a result, police are looking for a person of interest who is described as a Caucasian female who is approximately in the 50s age range. She also has long white hair and was reportedly seen “scoping out” properties before the thefts happened.
