Red Deer’s Eileen Park is set to play in the 112th Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship next week.

From July 21-24 at the Toronto Golf Club in Mississauga, Ont., she’ll compete against the top amateur golfers from around the world.

The tournament will feature 156 players competing over 72 holes of stroke play.

Along with earning the Duchess of Connaught Gold Cup, the winner will receive an exemption into the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open at Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, August 19 – 23 and the 2026 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship in Ooltewah, Tenn., August 4 – 9.

“We are very excited to begin the 112th playing of the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship as we welcome a world-class field to the historic Toronto Golf Club,” said Madeline MacMillan, Tournament Director, Golf Canada. “We’d like to thank the staff and membership of The Toronto Golf Club for their continued commitment to hosting amateur golf as they celebrate a milestone anniversary. We know the players will enjoy a memorable experience at the club and in the City of Mississauga.”

According to the World Amateur Golf Rankings, Park is ranked 497th in the world and is fresh off winning the PGA Women’s Championship on Thursday in Ontario.

With the win, the Team Canada NextGen athlete earned an exemption into the CPKC Women’s Open.
