Red Deer building permit values total $5.21 million in June

The City of Red Deer reports that building permit values totalled $5.21 million in June.
This marks a decrease from the $949.26 million reported in June 2025.
The city explained that last year’s total is significantly more because it included a single permit valued at $940 million for the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre expansion.
Meanwhile, year-to-date building permit values of $41.85 million are lower compared to the $1.002 billion reported at the same time last year.
