Four-year sentence for Red Deer man convicted in local armed robberies
It’s four years in jail for a Red Deer man charged in a pair of local armed robberies nearly two-and-a-half years ago.
Lloyd Joanisse, 43, was sentenced in Red Deer Court of King’s Bench on June 8, 2026, after pleading guilty to six counts.
Those charges include two counts of robbery, two counts of use of imitation firearm in commission of offence, and two counts of disguised with intent. Three other charges were withdrawn on March 19, 2026.
Joanisse was also given a lifetime firearm prohibition.
