Submissions are now open for the Ag Innovations Competition that is set to be held at Agri-Trade in Red Deer next November.

The competition, which is presented by the Agricultural Financial Services Corporation, is calling on industry innovators to share their latest advancements that will help farm operations.

The Ag Innovations Competition is held each year as part of the Agri-Trade, which is set for November 11-13 later this year.

This year’s competition will be held on November 12.

“Some of the most transformative ideas in agriculture don’t come from boardrooms—they come from the field,” said Craig Shaw, Chair of the Ag Innovations Committee, in a media release. “The Ag Innovations Competition is about giving those ideas a platform and the opportunity to connect their product to producers.”

Five finalists will be chosen from the submissions by a committee in early fall, and those selected will come together to compete for $25,000 in cash prizes during the event.

The submissions will be evaluated based on originality, impact, practicality, and scalability.

Applications are open until August 1 and can be submitted online at agri-trade.com.
