Update: No. 2:

Red Deer RCMP report that at 12:03 p.m. today, they responded to a 911 call that people in a vehicle were pointing firearms at a second vehicle.

Police were able to locate the youth suspects, who RCMP say were cooperative, and a firearm was found, but police determined it was a replica firearm.

“All parties involved in this incident are youth and have been educated about the implications of replica firearms and returned to their parents,” as stated in a media release.

No charges have been laid, and no one was injured during this event.

“Red Deer RCMP remain committed to public safety, and remind the public that replica firearms, including airsoft, pellet, BB, or toy guns designed to resemble real firearms, may result in seizure, criminal charges, or other enforcement action depending on the circumstances.”
